It's the Boston Tea Party...every day. This classic tea box is an ideal gift for the Americana or history buff, or liberty-lover of any stripe.
Bringing this design to you was truly a labor of love on our part. There was a day when patriotic engravings adorned classroom walls all over the United States.
I distinctly remember this one making grade-school history lessons all the more interesting, so when I came across a vintage copy while rummaging through some old prints I was delighted and knew it would be perfect to add to our selection of vintage engravings.
Painstakingly restored, it engraves in beautiful detail. Our customers call all of our boxes, heirlooms...and this one will truly fit the definition.
We stock ours with British tea! It will hold over 100 tea bags, neatly organized and ready for your tea-drinking pleasure...or remove the compartments and it makes an exquisite tabletop or wardrobe piece.
Each box will engrave uniquely with the wood grain for a one-of-a-kind item.
This is heirloom quality piece is fashioned from premium American white alder and comes with eight removable compartments.

If you choose the personalization option...contact us and we will discuss the details and will happily send you a proof for your approval. We can work in a name, inscription or perhaps any idea you have either into the design, inside the lid or on the bottom of the box.
*A Note About Our Wood* - These boxes are made from premium white American alder. They are not made from cheap pine or basswood as you will find elsewhere.
Each one is individually engraved in our workshop and finished with a natural blend of beeswax, carnauba wax and vegetable derived food-safe ingredients.
All the wood harvested for these boxes is verified legal and best of all, 100% sustainable – our suppliers grow 2.45 trees for every tree that is harvested or dies naturally.

I have been looking a very long time for a tea box that is not only quality construction (dove tailed) but unique. This is it! It is beautiful! It fits my tea bags wonderfully.
