This delightful wood tea box design was rescued, restored and reworked in our workshop from a turn of the century engraving. The hospitable Mr. Squirrel serves up some acorn tea with whimsy to his forest friends!
Each box will engrave uniquely with the wood grain for a one-of-a-kind item.
Newly redesigned in American hardwood, this is an heirloom quality piece now available in two sizes, with either six or eight removable compartments. With the compartments removed or not, it can also find use as desktop or dresser caddy, keepsake chest or whatever your imagination desires!
Dimensions:
8 compartment - 12 x 7 1/2 x 3 3/4 (Holds approx. 115 tea bags)
6 compartment - 9 1/4 x 7 1/2 x 3 3/4 (Holds approx. 85 tea bags)
If you choose the personalization option...contact us and we will discuss the details and can send you a proof for your approval! We can work in a name, inscription or perhaps any idea you have either into the design, inside the lid or on the bottom of the box.
*A Note About Our Wood* - These boxes are made from premium white American alder. They are not made from cheap pine or basswood as you will find elsewhere.
Each one is individually engraved in our workshop and finished with a natural blend of beeswax, carnauba wax and vegetable derived food-safe ingredients.
All the wood harvested for these boxes is verified legal and best of all, 100% sustainable – our suppliers grow 2.45 trees for every tree that is harvested or dies naturally.
